- Brett studied photography at Leek Collage, attaining both an ‘A’ level and a ‘Centra’ in Graphic Technology. He then went on to work locally in the photographic industry. He was an active member of Alsager Camera Club finishing his time there as chairman. After tiring of taking photographs to please competition judges, he left the club to concentrate his time on taking images that said more about the subject than the technical skill of the photographer. He won the ‘Britannia Art Award’ for 2005,2006 and 2008. His blog 365 to 42 was also Google Blog of note. His main body of work is divided between landscape and wildlife photography. Love the paving slabs water sheen too.
Looks like a mansion that the Addams family would love!
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that if you are looking to give the viewer an enhanced version or one with some real punch this works, but truthfully your photography is good enough as is.

ReplyDeleteBrett...I also looked at the Black and white version. Both have their own character. I really like how the HDR brought out the wet pavement.

Haven't visited for a while and have just scrolled down to see what I have missed. Lovely as always. The early morning shot is so evocative. However this one looks so Gothic, almost like a stage set. I like the effect :)
