A set of photos of Leek pubs this week, starting with the Swan which is on the corner of St Edwards street just opposite the church.

A photograph a day taken in and around Leek and the Staffordshire moorlands
This looks like a historic old building. Does the pub occupy the lower level only?
ReplyDeleteHi, Brett. Very good photo! I'm a great fan of british and irish pubs and I'm distraught that there aren't any such pubs in Germany. There are irish pubs in Germany, of cause. But they haven't the typical and unstrained ambience of the original british/irish pubs. Do you have more photos of pubs? Greetings from Stuttgart. Steffen
ReplyDeleteEverything about this is so charming! The architecture, the flower box, the vines, the golden swan.
ReplyDeleteHow many pubs are there in Leek if you are making a series of them? Very charming building.
