A photograph a day taken in and around Leek and the Staffordshire moorlands
It makes me wonder if business is not so good, or if they outgrew this place.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice house.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your site, Brett. (just discovered it).
ReplyDeleteRegarding this house on Newcastle Road, it's called Caldene and was, I think, originally occupied by the manager of the town's gas works, which stood next to it.
Amos Developments outgrew the site and are now based in the former Alexandra Mill in Queen Street, which has been superbly restored. They have been responsible for several restoration/conversion projects in the town.
