- Brett studied photography at Leek Collage, attaining both an ‘A’ level and a ‘Centra’ in Graphic Technology. He then went on to work locally in the photographic industry. He was an active member of Alsager Camera Club finishing his time there as chairman. After tiring of taking photographs to please competition judges, he left the club to concentrate his time on taking images that said more about the subject than the technical skill of the photographer. He won the ‘Britannia Art Award’ for 2005,2006 and 2008. His blog 365 to 42 was also Google Blog of note. His main body of work is divided between landscape and wildlife photography. We had temporary classrooms like that too! Likewise they were with an old building that was the school, they are however long gone as the old part of the school got turned into dwellings. Then where I went to 6th form college, we had similar that were the common room and refectory (chips with everything and one of those drinks machines that did hot chocolate), fond memories, also gone to make way for some hideous redbrick (which also resulted in the old gymnasium and changing rooms being demolished).
