Foot steps

I've been a bit slack these past few days, lots of work on and a birthday to enjoy (mine) I even miss this blogs second anniversary.

Heres a picture taken last year at the back of the Roaches.

Winters morning

A winters morning down on the canal

River Churnet, Consal

The river Churnet at Consal, just opposite the White house from the last post.

The White house 2

The white house, Consall, it stands between the canal and the railway, both old industrial byways now turned to leisure. See here as it was before it was restored, the White house 1

Turing space

A Turning spot on the Leek canal, taken durring the spring last year.

Wall of snow

A dry stone wall up in the hills during the last spell of deep snow.

Cill

A Cill marker on a canal lock, just look at the sign to understand what it means.
